What a treasure! I guess you're seeing them now? We have to get rid of our snow first. They showed up very early in April last year, but they;re still snowbound this year.
That IS a treasure!! How nice that you have them.
I love both of the images! The poem is timeless, I think. I celebrate the way in which you keep your ancestors alive.

A treasure, indeed! Your connection to your ancestors is a wonderful thing. I don't know a lot about my family, they were never very tight, and it saddens me.
