The good ol’ daze …

I won’t be blogging for a few weeks so I thought I’d post these great pictures to hold me over until I get back.

They are actual billboards posted in Detroit, Michigan by GM. If any of you out there are near my age these pictures will bring back fond memories !

I should have some interesting blog material when I get back and I will be anxious to share it with you.

‘til then … Keep on truckin'

I so remember those days when I could actually tell one car from another.
Have a wonderful break. See ya on the flip side.

These adds are wonderful and bring back memories from long ago before we worried about the price of gas and global warming.

The 57 Chevy is still one of the cooliest cars. So many of the modern cars look alike with no real flair.

I was a Ford, then GM fan for years until I switched to Toyota in the 1980s. I haven't looked back. Can't get a new car now anyway. As for the trip down memory lane, my dad drove Studebakers and then Packards, and I don't know who made them. I am not much of a car person, I suppose. Have a nice trip. Dianne

Ah, yes... I do remember those cars, owned one or 2 of them. GM was at its best in the 50s... it was all downhill after that. Got rid of one Chevy with only 18,000 miles on it, it was that bad. Had a couple good Fords, but now I am a Toyota fan.
And as several have said, now they all look alike.
Have a safe one! Be thinking of ya! Hope the weather cooperates!

I passed your house last Sunday, on the way to and from my daughter's. Her older son was inducted into the NHS. I noticed that the house to the right of yours is for sale....anything I should look into?
