Still searching for other people in their 70's

My first try at blogging was on Monday. Is there anyone out there that has read my blog...and who would care to respond? It seemed so simple but when there is no feedback it takes the heart out of it. I will keep trying and hope that there is another person somewhere who would like to correspond and share ideas about life after
70. Ginnie

Thank you for commenting on my blog (www.octogenarian.blogspot.com).
Welcome to the blogging world. I am sure you will find it a great experience. I guess I don't qualify for the "other people in their 70s" who you're searching for. I left that decade nearly 2 years ago.

Just keep pegging away. Take a look at the Ageless Project http://jenett.org/ageless/, and there is a fantastically good blog at http://septuagent.typepad.com written by an over-70. He doesn't have much of an "insightful" nature to say and he can't remember his fond - er - what did you say ?

Ginnie - Don't give up blogging - it takes time for people to find you. I just linked to you thru Octogenarian and enjoyed your posts. I do hope you will write about your grandfather (re: your comment on Mort's blog). I'm not in my 70's...yet.... but the senior blogs are so much more interesting than all the others....so keep at it!!!!

Am not a blogger, but enjoy visiting various blogs from time to time. The stories you talk of writing sound interesting, so don't give up too quickly.

Hi Ginnie....I got directed here via Claude. Although I'm 59, I get the most enjoyment out of reading many of the bloggers over age 65.
Welcome to the world of blogging. I see you're a native New Englander also and I loved your post about the Brits visiting your home.
I'm not with Blogger anymore, so will leave my URL below. Claude had mentioned it would be easier if you opened your comments to those of us that don't use Blogger. That would enable more of us to leave you comments.
Have a great weekend and I'll be back again soon to visit.

Ginnie, thanks for opening your comments to all bloggers.
There are quite a few elder bloggers around. One of the first places you should visit is Time Goes By, Ronni Bennett's blog, where you'll find a lot of information about elder bloggers.
If you visit other people's blogs and leave comments on their blogs, they will return the visit ;)
Welcome to the blogging world.

Hi Ginnie

Welcome to the blogging community. Found you through Claude, what a peach she is!

It took a while until people found me. I am registered with the Agless Project, that helps a lot.

The more I blog, the more I enjoy it.

Good luck
